Modelo : Odd Job
Diagnostic Characteristics:
The CIPSA Odd Job is a Wave 4 release and uses the standard 1973 Hong Kong casting. No casting differences are noted. The zamac engine and base appear
to lack the final zinc plating and are duller than normal. The plastic parts are very similar to the HK version. The wheels are the most noteworthy diagnostic
feature of the CIPSA Odd Job as all examples of the CIPSA Odd Job have the Type 3 Through Hole style wheel with no red stripe. The motor is sometimes missing.

Comments:
The CIPSA Odd Job is almost identical to the 1973 domestic HK made release. The colors of the enamel paint are not greatly different and the plastic parts
are the same so the only defining characteristic is the wheels. All confirmed Odd Jobs have Type 3 Through Hole Blackwalls. A few examples with the normal
1973 combination of a capped wheel in the rear and a through hole redline in the front have been found in Mexico but they are believed to be expatriates that
moved south of the border. However, one of the two surviving CIPSA blister packs contained an Odd Job, unfortunately the BP is not sealed.
Hong Kong Odd Job(L) vs. CIPSA Odd Job (R)
The motor on the CIPSA is a bit duller and the top a bit brighter but little else stands out as a diagnostic feature between the two.
Odd Job with BP : This BP was found in Germany, purchased by a merchant marine sailor in Mexico back in the day. Sold on eBay in 2015.

CHIPSA Odd Job, Typical Condition
The motors of many Odd Jobs have fallen out. The plastic parts are easily lost. But the wheels remain as a confirming characteristic.
As of 2016 less than 15 Odd Jobs are known. Click on the link to the Odd Job Registry to see all known examples of this casting
